The rapid test is designed to detect iron stores (Ferritin) in the human body. Ferritin stores iron and releases it into the body when needed. In this way, iron balance is maintained.

Accuracy 95.1 %,
Sensitivity - 96.2%,
Specificity - 91.3 %

Results in 5 minutes

The sample is finger blood.

The problem

Iron stores in the body help maintain stable energy, a strong immune system, glowing skin and hair, and a balanced metabolism.

  • Test cassette
  • Capillary dripper
  • Buffer
  • Alcohol-soaked tampon
  • Lancet
  • Package leaflet
  1. Wash your hands with soap and rinse with clean warm water.
  2. Keep the bag at room temperature before opening it. Open the foil bag and remove the cartridge.
  3. Carefully detach and discard the detached lancet cap.
  4. Wipe the tip of the middle or ring finger with an alcohol-soaked swab to prepare the puncture site.
  5. Press the lancet with the side from which the cap was removed against the fingertip (preferably on the side of the ring finger). After use, the tip automatically and securely retracts.
  6. Keeping your arm lowered, massage the pierced fingertip to make a drop of blood appear. Wipe off the first drop of blood.
  7. Without pressing on the head of the capillary dropper, attach it to the blood that has been squeezed. The capillarity of the capillary allows the blood to enter the capillary dropper up to the line indicated on the capillary dropper.
If the line is not reached, you can massage the finger again to squeeze out more blood. Try as much as possible to avoid air bubbles.
  8. Squeeze the head of the dropper and draw blood into the sample well of the cartridge.
  9. Wait until all the blood has dripped into the well. Unscrew the cap of the buffer bottle and add 1 drop of buffer to the sample well of the cartridge.
  10. Wait until the coloured line(s) appear. Check the results after 5 minutes. After 10 min, do not check the results again.
Normal Two coloured lines appear. Both T (test) and C (control) lines appear. This result means that the concentration of ferritin in the blood is normal and there is no possible iron deficiency.
Abnormal One coloured line appears. Only the control line (C) appears. This result means that the concentration of ferritin in the blood is too low. You should consult your doctor as this may be due to iron deficiency.
Not valid The control line does not appear. The most likely reasons for the non-appearance of the reference line are insufficient sample quantity or an incorrect procedure. Revise the procedure and repeat the test with a new test. If the problem persists, stop using the test kit and contact your local distributor.
