A quick guide to performing this test:

    • You should prepare for the test in advance:
        1. Determine menstrual cycle length (number of days between the start of menstrual cycles)
        2. Next determine days to count ahead (number of days until ovulation starts)

  • The test will take 10 minutes to complete.
  • The location of testing is chosen according to the convenience of the user.
  • You will need to wash your hands (or use a sanitising fluid) before and after taking the test.
  • First morning urine should NOT be used for ovulation testing!
  • Reduce water intake atleast 2 hours before testing!

*Sample collection cup and timer are not included in the test kit.

  1. Place the test dipstick into the cup with urine sample no further than "MAX LINE" indicator on the test.
  2. Start timer immediately by setting for 5 minutes.
  3. Dipstick test can be removed from the sample after 15 seconds or left until the timer stops.

Interpretation of results:

  • POSITIVE: A coloured line appears in areas (C) and *(T). Ovulation is likely to occur in the next 24-36 hours.

*Line (T) may also appear fainter than line (C).

  • NEGATIVE : a coloured line appears ONLY in area (C) or an additional BLANK line appears in area (T). In this case, no increase in ovulation hormone is detected.
  • INVALID: no colour line (C) or no other colour line appears in the area.

All used components of the kit are handled according to local requirements.
